In popular belief, fado is a form of music characterized by mournful tunes and lyrics born at the waterfront and spread across alleys and taverns of the city, often about the sea or the life of the poor, and infused with a sentiment of resignation, fatefulness and melancholia. Listening to that music you will have the chance to  taste traditional Portuguese cuisine  to immerse yourself fully into Lisbon's historical tradition. Fado music is declared part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. After the 2-hour live show and dinner continue the city tour and learn about the local hidden gems and cuisine in the city's oldest district, Alfama , where Fado was born in the early 19th century.

Then you will get to visit the Praça comércio  a notable plaza that is beautifully illuminated at night. Continue your night stroll at   Cais do Sodré , which is famous for its trendy bars and upbeat character especially famous between the young Portuguese people, a neighborhood that comes alive at night. Next you have to visit the two most famous sights of Lisbon. The  Belem Tower and   Momument of Discoveries.  Both sites with great historical significance that dates back to the city's fishing and naval tradition offer e magnificent view at night.

At the way back yo your hotel, you can also admire the Jeronimos Monastery. Then your personal guide and driver after a night full of tastes and traditions will get you back to your accommodation for some rest around 12:00 am.
